A large 500-bed hospital in York, PA is seeking a Pharmacist for a contract position starting ASAP. The assignment lasts for 13 weeks or more, offering a variable schedule with days and afternoon shifts.

Responsibilities:

• Verify medication orders to ensure accuracy and safety
• Supervise pharmacy technicians in daily operations
• Consult with physicians and healthcare teams on medication management
• Apply pharmacokinetic principles to optimize patient therapy
• Utilize technologies such as EPIC and Pyxis for medication dispensing and patient records

Qualifications:

• Valid Pennsylvania pharmacist license
• Approximately 2 years of inpatient pharmacy experience preferred
• Proficiency with EPIC and Pyxis pharmacy systems advantageous
