Pharmacist in Ypsilanti, MI

A pharmacist position is available to support home infusion services in Ypsilanti, MI. This contract role spans two months, working Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. The pharmacist will assist in the preparation and verification of sterile compounds created by technicians in a clean room environment, ensuring compliance with USP 797 and 800 standards. Clinical consultations with patients are also a key component of this position.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with preparation and verification of sterile compounded medications.
• Ensure adherence to USP 797 and 800 sterile compounding standards.
• Provide clinical consults to patients regarding their therapies.
• Collaborate with pharmacy technicians and healthcare team members to maintain quality and safety.

Qualifications:

• Active Michigan pharmacy license.
• Experience in home infusion pharmacy or inpatient hospital pharmacy.
• Proficiency in sterile compounding practices.
• Familiarity with Care Tend computer system is a plus but not mandatory.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to regulatory standards.
