Pharmacist - Yreka, California

A retail pharmacy in Yreka, CA is seeking a full-time Pharmacist to manage a high-volume store. This contract position requires handling 400–500 prescriptions daily and working within a fast-paced environment that recently transitioned to PioneerRx software.

Responsibilities:

• Accurately dispense medications and counsel patients regarding prescriptions.
• Manage high prescription volumes efficiently while maintaining exceptional patient care.
• Utilize the PioneerRx pharmacy software system for processing and record-keeping.
• Ensure compliance with all state and federal pharmacy regulations.
• Collaborate with healthcare providers to resolve medication-related issues.

Qualifications:

• Valid California Pharmacist License.
• Recent experience as a pharmacist, preferably in retail pharmacy settings.
• Ability to work comfortably in a busy pharmacy handling a large prescription volume.
• Proficiency or willingness to quickly adapt to new pharmacy software systems, specifically PioneerRx.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
