Staff Pharmacist - Hospital Outpatient

Position Details:

• Join a high-volume outpatient pharmacy filling approximately 1,100 prescriptions per week as the second pharmacist on staff
• Provide prescription verification, patient counseling, immunizations, and support the Meds to Beds program
• Utilize PioneerRx pharmacy management software and EPIC for patient demographics and insurance processing
• One week per month may be performed remotely, with occasional onsite coverage at the Oneonta and Delhi locations for vacation or sick coverage
• Local candidates and travel pharmacists are encouraged to apply. Travel stipends are available for qualified travelers.

Work Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:30 PM, 40 hours per week

Compensation: Starting at $60+/hour (based on experience). Travel stipends available for qualified travelers.

Requirements

• Active New York Pharmacist License in good standing
• Retail or outpatient pharmacy experience required
• Outstanding customer service skills (a top priority for this client)
• Immunization certified or willing to obtain
• Experience with PioneerRx and/or EPIC is preferred
