Home Infusion Pharmacy Clerk - Bay Shore, New York

An opportunity is available for an organized and detail-oriented Pharmacy Clerk to support home infusion operations. This direct hire role offers the chance to develop pharmacy operations knowledge while working closely with the Pharmacy Manager in a collaborative environment.

Location: Bay Shore, NY
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Responsibilities:

• Accurately pack patient medication and supply orders for shipment, ensuring all items arrive undamaged
• Maintain a clean, well-stocked pharmacy, shipping area, and warehouse
• Assemble shipping boxes and ensure adequate shipping materials and ice packs are available
• Perform clerical duties such as filing patient charts and managing shipments via FedEx
• Participate in periodic inventory counts of pharmacy supplies
• Adhere to all company policies, federal and state regulations, and compliance requirements
• Collaborate effectively with team members and internal/external customers, fostering a positive work environment
• Work safely by following injury and illness prevention protocols and reporting any hazards promptly
• Demonstrate enthusiasm for learning and sharing knowledge to improve job effectiveness
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) and internet navigation
• Experience operating office equipment including computers, scanners, printers, copiers, and phones
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to multi-task and handle interruptions while managing workload proactively
• Sound judgment and consistent decision-making skills
• Ability to work well as part of a team including with remote colleagues
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and mobile throughout the workday
