Home Infusion Pharmacy Clerk - Ronkonkoma, New York

A pharmacy technician role focused on home infusion services offers a unique opportunity for individuals eager to grow their knowledge in pharmacy operations and inventory management. Schedule:

• Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM

Key Responsibilities:

• Pack patient orders ensuring all medications, supplies, and durable medical equipment (DME) arrive intact.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization across the pharmacy, shipping, and warehouse areas.
• Assemble shipping boxes and manage shipping supplies including packing materials and ice packs.
• Perform clerical duties such as filing patient charts and processing shipments via FedEx.
• Participate in mid-year and annual pharmacy inventory cycles.
• Adhere strictly to all applicable policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Demonstrate professionalism, teamwork, and a dedication to learning and knowledge sharing.
• Ensure a safe work environment by following safety protocols and reporting hazards promptly.
• Comply with all compliance program policies and report any concerns immediately.
• Assist with additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Basic computer proficiency including Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) and internet usage.
• Experience operating office equipment such as scanners, printers, copiers, and phone systems.
• Strong organizational skills with a detail-oriented approach and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Excellent judgment and decision-making capabilities.
• Ability to collaborate with both on-site and remote team members.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and be mobile throughout the workday.
