We are seeking an experienced Pharmacist for a 13-week hospital contract with potential for extension or direct hire. The role offers a variety of scheduling options and focuses on medication operations, order verification, and supporting pharmacy and nursing teams.
* **Position:** Pharmacist, Operations
* **Employment Type:** Contract
* **Duration:** 13 weeks, with potential extension/direct hire
* **Setting:** Hospital
* **Schedule Options:**
* Monday–Friday, 8-hour shifts with rotating third weekend
* 7-on/7-off, 11:30 AM–10:00 PM
* **Systems:** EPIC EHR, EPIC Dispense Prep, Omnicell
**Responsibilities:**
* Assist with medication preparation and dispensing
* Interpret and verify medication orders
* Maintain inventory and check cart/controlled substance fills
* Supervise pharmacy technicians
* Provide medication-related information to nursing staff
**Requirements:**
* Active North Carolina Pharmacist License
* Inpatient hospital pharmacy experience
* Sterile compounding experience
* EPIC experience preferred
* Experience with EPIC Dispense Prep and Omnicell preferred
