A prominent 500+ bed hospital in the Texas Medical Center is seeking a skilled pharmacy professional for a contract opportunity with an ASAP start. This role offers an excellent chance to work in a fast-paced, high-volume inpatient environment, supporting critical patient care with a dedicated night shift schedule.

Location: Houston, TX
Schedule:

• Night shifts, 7 days on / 7 days off
• 9:00 pm to 7:30 am
  Duration: 13 weeks + with potential for temp-to-hire

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and dispense medications in compliance with hospital and pharmacy protocols
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure safe and effective medication therapy management
• Maintain accurate documentation and assist with medication inventory control
• Utilize electronic health record systems, preferably EPIC, to support patient care initiatives
• Participate in clinical rounds and provide drug information as needed

Qualifications:

• Current Texas pharmacist license required
• Texas IV Certification mandatory
• Minimum of 3 years inpatient hospital pharmacy experience
• Experience with EPIC electronic health records strongly preferred
