Oversee and elevate quality assurance processes within a specialized 503A compounding pharmacy. This supervisory role focuses on maintaining rigorous quality standards aligned with regulatory expectations, particularly following established protocols and the proven operational style of the facility. Candidates will lead quality assurance efforts, ensuring all pharmaceutical products adhere strictly to USP <795>, <797>, <800>, and relevant state and federal regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and manage quality assurance procedures and metrics to maintain product quality.
- Conduct regular audits and ensure compliance with established QA processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate quality standards across all products and workflows.
- Lead and train the QA team to uphold quality assurance protocols.
- Monitor product testing and inspections, investigating any non-conformances or customer complaints.
- Analyze quality trends to drive continuous improvement efforts.
- Maintain strict compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and organizational policies.
Required Qualifications:
- Proven experience in quality assurance within a pharmaceutical compounding environment.
- Strong knowledge of USP <795>, <797>, <800>, and 503A regulatory frameworks.
- Demonstrated ability to lead audits and manage regulatory inspections.
- Proficient with Quality Management Systems, document control software, and understanding of data integrity principles including 21 CFR Part 11.
- Commitment to following established practices without deviating from the facility’s standard procedures.
Location: Kennett Square, Pennsylvania
Schedule:
- Monday through Friday, 8:30 am to 5:30 pm
- Flexibility to work Saturdays if needed
