Pharmacist - Logan, Ohio

A hospital pharmacy opportunity is available in Logan, OH, offering a dynamic role within a 25-bed facility that supports Emergency Department, Infusion, and Orthopedics specialties. The position is contract-based, beginning as soon as possible, with a commitment of 13 weeks or more.

Schedule:

• 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
• On-call responsibilities following some shifts
• Occasional Saturdays from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

This role demands accuracy and efficiency in medication order entry and management, primarily using the EPIC system, where experience is highly preferred. The facility operates without site automation, allowing for a hands-on approach to pharmacy services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage medication order entry accurately using EPIC
• Support pharmacy operations across Emergency Department, Infusion, and Orthopedic units
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to optimize patient medication therapies
• Participate in on-call rotation as required
• Provide occasional weekend coverage to maintain patient care standards

Qualifications:

• Active Ohio Pharmacist license
• Minimum of 1 year hospital pharmacy experience
• Proficiency with the EPIC order entry system is preferred
