This direct hire opportunity is for an experienced Infusion Pharmacy Manager to lead daily pharmacy operations with a strong focus on training and staff development. The role requires proven management experience within infusion pharmacy settings and a commitment to regulatory compliance and patient care excellence.
Location: Alpharetta, GA
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM, with administrative on-call and schedule flexibility
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily pharmacy workflow, delegating tasks efficiently to pharmacists and technicians
- Manage training programs and orientation for pharmacy staff to build a skilled and compliant team
- Ensure pharmacy operations align with all state and federal regulations, holding team members accountable
- Collaborate with referral sources and internal teams to resolve operational challenges
- Implement departmental goals and ensure consistent follow-through on quarterly and annual objectives
- Provide direct pharmaceutical care including patient counseling, prescription review, and dispensing
- Supervise logistics for proper storage and handling of medications and supplies
- Conduct annual employee evaluations and deliver structured feedback to support professional growth
- Develop and maintain team goals aligned with organizational values and performance standards
Qualifications / Desired Experience:
- Prior management experience in infusion pharmacy or infusion pharmacy operations
- Demonstrated expertise in staff training and orientation
- Strong knowledge of pharmacy laws, regulations, and best practices
- Experience with CPR+/CareTend system preferred
- Active Georgia pharmacy license required
- Ability to provide at least one infusion/specialty pharmacy manager reference
This position offers a competitive salary range of $150,000 to $165,000, depending on experience.
