Job Description
Soliant is seeking an experienced Pharmacy Manager for a contract-to-hire opportunity at a 90-bed long-term acute care hospital. This leadership role offers the chance to oversee pharmacy operations while remaining clinically active in a collaborative inpatient setting. The ideal candidate brings both strong management experience and a commitment to quality patient care.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily pharmacy department operations, including staff scheduling and workflow management
  • Supervise and support pharmacy staff, including pharmacists and technicians
  • Perform clinical and dispensing duties as a practicing pharmacist
  • Develop and implement processes to ensure regulatory compliance and quality assurance
  • Lead performance improvement initiatives and optimize departmental workflows
  • Serve as a resource for staff education, onboarding, and standard operating procedures

Skills

  • Strong leadership and team management abilities
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance practices
  • Ability to balance administrative and clinical responsibilities
  • Strong problem-solving and organizational skills

Qualifications

  • Active California Pharmacist license
    • Licensing assistance may be available if needed
  • Prior pharmacy management or leadership experience required

Experience

  • Previous inpatient or hospital pharmacy experience required 
  • Experience in a leadership or supervisory role required 

Education

  • Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) or equivalent from an accredited institution

Work Hours

  • Monday – Friday
  • Day shifts
  • 40 hours per week

Compensation

  • $72+/hour 
  • Potential for higher rate based on experience
