This opportunity is for an Interim Pharmacy Operations Manager based in Bakersfield, overseeing inpatient pharmacy services across two campuses with an average daily census of 120-150 patients. Reporting directly to the Director of Pharmacy, this leadership role is pivotal in ensuring smooth and efficient pharmacy operations within a healthcare system affiliated with a prominent health organization.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as the right-hand to the Director of Pharmacy, assisting with operational oversight.
- Manage day-to-day pharmacy functions across both Downtown and Southwest campuses.
- Coordinate and manage employee scheduling to optimize pharmacy workforce coverage.
- Address and resolve operational issues promptly as they arise throughout the day.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards within the inpatient pharmacy setting.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support patient care and pharmacy services.
