Supervising Pharmacy Manager - Arvin, California

This interim leadership role offers oversight of pharmacy operations across two inpatient campuses with an average daily census of 120-150 patients. Reporting directly to the Director of Pharmacy, you will serve as the right-hand resource, managing daily activities and ensuring seamless service delivery within a dynamic healthcare environment.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee day-to-day operations of the pharmacy across two campuses.
• Collaborate closely with the Director of Pharmacy to implement operational strategies and maintain high-quality patient care.
• Manage employee scheduling to ensure adequate pharmacy staffing and coverage.
• Address and resolve issues as they arise, maintaining smooth workflows.
• Support process improvements and compliance with regulatory standards.

Qualifications:

• Proven management experience in a pharmacy setting, preferably within inpatient healthcare.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to coordinate across multiple teams.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication abilities.
• Familiarity with inpatient pharmacy operations, including staff scheduling and issue resolution.

Location:

• Bakersfield area (with responsibility for two campuses: Downtown and Southwest).

This contract position is expected to last approximately 3 to 6 months, with a start date that is flexible but sooner preferred. The opportunity to contribute operational leadership to a well-established health system affiliation makes this an engaging interim role.
