An experienced Home Infusion Pharmacy Manager is needed to oversee pharmacy operations and clinical services focused on safe, home-based intravenous therapies in the Greater Atlanta area. This direct hire opportunity starts ASAP and offers a Monday through Friday schedule from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with flexibility required for administrative on-call duties.
This role is responsible for directing sterile compounding activities, managing pharmacy personnel, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards while promoting branch profitability. A key component of success is fostering a culture centered on training and long-term team development.
Responsibilities:
- Lead daily pharmacy operations including sterile compounding, IV admixture preparation, dispensing, and inventory control.
- Supervise pharmacists and technicians, including recruitment, orientation, training, performance evaluation, and on-call scheduling.
- Ensure compliance with State Board of Pharmacy regulations and USP compounding guidelines.
- Maintain clinical expertise in infusion therapies, collaborating with healthcare providers to optimize patient care.
- Assist with branch budgeting, workflow improvements, and performance enhancement strategies.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- PharmD or Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from an accredited institution.
- Active, unrestricted Pharmacist license in Georgia.
- Minimum 5 years of direct clinical and operational experience in home infusion or acute care pharmacy.
- Strong expertise in IV admixture services and regulatory compliance.
- Proven leadership experience with a focus on training and team culture development.
- Experience with CPR+ and CareTend systems is highly preferred.
- Willingness to take administrative on-call duties as needed; pharmacists rotate regular on-call assignments.
