Pharmacy Manager - Atlanta, GA

An opportunity is available for a skilled professional to manage home infusion pharmacy operations, overseeing the delivery of safe, effective intravenous therapies in patients’ homes. This role requires a strong leader with hands-on experience in infusion management, ready to direct daily pharmacy activities, lead a dedicated team, and ensure compliance with strict regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee all pharmacy operations, including sterile compounding, IV admixture preparation, dispensing, and inventory control.
• Lead recruitment, training, and performance evaluations for pharmacists and technicians, fostering a team culture focused on continuous development.
• Maintain strict adherence to regulatory guidelines such as State Boards of Pharmacy regulations and USP <797/800> standards.
• Collaborate with clinical teams including physicians and nurses to ensure optimal patient outcomes through effective infusion therapy management.
• Participate in budgeting, workflow optimization, and initiatives aimed at branch profitability and operational excellence.
• Provide administrative on-call support as needed, with the pharmacist team sharing regular on-call responsibilities.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) or Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from an accredited institution.
• Current, unrestricted Pharmacist license in the state of Georgia.
• 5-7 years of direct clinical and operational experience in home infusion or acute care pharmacy.
• Proven leadership skills with an emphasis on training and staff development.
• Expertise in IV admixture services and regulatory compliance.
• Familiarity with CPR+ and CareTend systems is highly preferred.
• Flexibility to accommodate Monday through Friday schedule from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with administrative on-call duties.
