Retail Supervising Pharmacy Manager | Bainbridge, New York

A leading retail pharmacy in Norwich, NY seeks an experienced Pharmacy Manager to oversee and lead pharmacy operations on a contract basis. This role is vital to ensuring compliance, operational excellence, and community engagement while maintaining a commitment to patient care and pharmacy staff development.

Location: Norwich, NY
Schedule:

• Monday to Friday: 9:00 AM – 7:00 PM
• Saturday: 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM
• Closed Sundays
  Job Type: Contract (interim or permanent opportunities available)

Key Responsibilities:

• Register and maintain status as the supervising pharmacist or pharmacist in charge with the state board of pharmacy.
• Ensure pharmacy operations comply with federal, state, and board regulations as well as company policies.
• Manage all aspects of pharmacy operations including budgeting, payroll, third-party administration, scheduling, and inventory control to achieve financial targets.
• Lead and train pharmacy staff while monitoring compliance with regulatory requirements and company standards.
• Participate in business development efforts within the store and the broader community.
• Deliver patient-centered services such as immunizations, medication therapy management (MTM), and wellness programs.
• Counsel patients and healthcare providers on medication use, interactions, and side effects while monitoring patient progress.
• Maintain a clean, organized workspace and facility adhering to legal and company standards.
• Complete required continuing education and support quality improvement initiatives to ensure patient safety.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Valid New York State Pharmacy License is required.
• Immunization certification with confidence administering all vaccines is essential.
• Recent experience as a Pharmacy Manager preferred.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
