Retail Supervising Pharmacy Manager | Bainbridge, New York

An established retail pharmacy is seeking an experienced Pharmacy Manager for a contract opportunity in Bainbridge, NY. This role offers a chance to lead pharmacy operations, ensure regulatory compliance, and provide exceptional patient care in a community-focused environment. Ideal candidates will have strong leadership skills, a valid NY pharmacist license, and immunization certification.

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday: 9:00 AM – 7:00 PM
• Saturday: 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM
• Sunday: Closed

Responsibilities:

• Register as Supervising Pharmacist or Pharmacist in Charge with the state board of pharmacy
• Manage the entire pharmacy department, including budget, payroll, scheduling, inventory, and third-party administration
• Ensure compliance with all federal, state, board of pharmacy regulations, and company policies
• Oversee pharmacy support personnel including training, performance management, and accountability
• Participate in business development activities within the store and the community
• Deliver patient-centered services such as immunizations, medication therapy management (MTM), and wellness programs
• Counsel patients and healthcare providers on medication usage, side effects, and therapy optimization
• Maintain a clean, organized workspace and pharmacy environment according to company standards
• Engage in continuous quality improvement to enhance patient safety
• Complete required continuing education programs
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management

Qualifications:

• Valid NY Pharmacist License
• Immunization Certification with comfort administering all vaccines
• Recent Pharmacy Manager experience preferred

This position is available on a contract basis, with options for interim or permanent placement. Relocation assistance is offered for permanent candidates.
