A retail pharmacy leader is sought to manage a busy pharmacy department and drive both operational excellence and customer satisfaction in Burnham, PA.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with store operations to foster associate engagement and effectively communicate pharmacy and company strategies.
- Ensure prescription accuracy and compliance through thorough Drug Utilization Review (DUR) and Final Quality Assurance, adhering to state and federal pharmacy laws.
- Manage department profitability by promoting script growth and clinical programs such as immunizations and Medication Therapy Management (MTM).
- Monitor inventory and sales in partnership with the District Manager, ordering pharmaceuticals to meet customer needs and maximize profit.
- Align team performance with seven key department metrics to optimize efficiency and effectiveness.
- Deliver superior customer service by addressing medical inquiries and providing healthcare counseling.
- Supervise pharmacists, pharmacy associates, and support staff, overseeing training, coaching, and disciplinary actions.
- Maintain pharmacy security and resolve customer issues to build trust and loyalty.
- Engage with physicians and use reference materials to address prescription or customer concerns.
- Keep the pharmacy organized and clean, while facilitating continuous staff development to enhance performance and reduce turnover.
- Prioritize tasks such as cycle counts, inventory management, and customer will-calls to ensure timely completion.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Pharmacy or PharmD degree.
- Active Pennsylvania Pharmacist License.
- Current Pennsylvania Immunization License.
Schedule:
- Variable day and afternoon shifts.
