Supervising Pharmacy Manager | Bellefonte, Pennsylvania

A retail pharmacy is seeking a full-time Pharmacy Manager to oversee operations and ensure excellent customer service at a Burnham, PA location. This direct hire role offers an opportunity to lead a dynamic pharmacy team, grow the business, and maintain compliance with all state and federal regulations.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain a collaborative relationship with store operations, driving associate engagement and aligning pharmacy goals with company strategy.
• Ensure accuracy and appropriateness of all prescriptions through Drug Utilization Review and Final Quality Assurance.
• Manage department profitability by growing prescription volume via clinical programs like immunizations and Medication Therapy Management (MTM).
• Oversee inventory control by tracking weekly sales and ordering stock accordingly.
• Align team performance with key department metrics to maximize effectiveness and efficiency.
• Deliver exceptional customer service including healthcare counseling and resolving customer issues.
• Supervise pharmacists, pharmacy associates, and support staff, handling training, coaching, and disciplinary actions.
• Maintain pharmacy security and compliance with all regulatory requirements.
• Liaise with physicians and use reference materials to resolve prescription and patient concerns.
• Keep the pharmacy orderly and clean, while promoting staff development to reduce turnover and control labor costs.
• Prioritize and complete tasks such as cycle counts, inventory management, and customer will-calls in a timely manner.

Qualifications / Desired Experience:

• Bachelor of Pharmacy or PharmD degree.
• Current Pennsylvania Pharmacist License.
• Current Pennsylvania Immunization License.

Schedule:

• Variable day and afternoon shifts.
