Role Overview:
The Manager of Regional Pharmacy is responsible for directing all pharmacy operations across assigned locations. This position works closely with the Director of Pharmacy to develop and implement policies, enhance quality assurance programs, and uphold performance standards. The manager will oversee budgeting, operational planning, staff development, and cross-department collaboration to ensure seamless pharmacy services and improved patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in planning and implementing hospital pharmacy procedures per policies and legal requirements
• Collaborate on operational planning, budgeting, and problem-solving with system pharmacy leadership
• Build and maintain effective communication with medical staff and hospital departments
• Develop pharmacy information management systems, charge systems, and inventory controls
• Participate in clinical and safety committees, including Pharmacy & Therapeutics and Patient Medication Safety Committees
• Manage human resource functions: hiring, staff development, performance reviews, and employee relations
• Ensure pharmacy operations meet productivity, budget, and patient care goals
• Perform additional pharmacy manager duties as assigned

Qualifications and Experience:

• PharmD degree from an accredited college or university
• Completion of an ASHP-accredited PGY2 residency in health-system pharmacy administration or equivalent experience
• Minimum 5 years in supervisory or management roles
• Active Wisconsin Pharmacist license
