Position Overview:
As the Manager of Regional Pharmacy, you will direct pharmacy operations across assigned sites, partnering closely with the Director of Pharmacy to develop and implement policies, procedures, and quality assurance initiatives. You will ensure efficient, compliant pharmacy services while fostering productive relationships with medical staff and hospital departments. This role encompasses operational planning, budgeting, staff management, and participation in key hospital committees to support high standards of care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with planning and implementing hospital pharmacy procedures and protocols
• Collaborate with system pharmacy leadership on operational planning, budgeting, and problem-solving
• Develop and maintain strong working relationships with medical staff and hospital departments
• Support the development and management of pharmacy information systems and inventory control
• Participate in key committees such as Pharmacy & Therapeutics, Safety, Medication Safety, and Nursing/Pharmacy collaboration
• Manage human resources functions including hiring, performance management, and staff engagement
• Monitor productivity, budget adherence, and patient outcomes to meet organizational goals
• Perform additional pharmacy manager duties as assigned

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• PharmD from an accredited college or university
• ASHP-accredited PGY2 residency in Health-System Pharmacy Administration or equivalent experience
• Minimum of 5 years supervisory/management experience
• Active Illinois Pharmacist license (required)
