An established healthcare system seeks a Manager of Regional Pharmacy to provide operational leadership across multiple pharmacy sites. This direct hire role is based in Rockford, IL, and offers an excellent opportunity to lead pharmacy services at a system level while working closely with pharmacy leadership to enhance financial performance, quality measures, and operational efficiency.

Schedule: Monday–Friday with 24/7 accountability

Key Responsibilities:

  • Direct pharmacy operations for assigned sites, ensuring compliance with policies and regulations
  • Collaborate with the Director of Pharmacy on planning, budgeting, and quality initiatives
  • Foster strong partnerships with medical staff and hospital departments to optimize service delivery
  • Oversee pharmacy information systems, inventory control, and operational workflows
  • Participate in committees such as Pharmacy & Therapeutics, Safety, and Medication Safety
  • Manage HR functions including recruitment, performance evaluations, professional development, and staff engagement
  • Monitor productivity, budget adherence, and patient outcomes to meet organizational goals
  • Assume additional responsibilities as assigned by leadership

Qualifications & Experience:

  • PharmD degree from an accredited university
  • Completion of an ASHP-accredited PGY2 residency in Health-System Pharmacy Administration or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of 5 years in pharmacy supervisory or management roles
  • Active Illinois Pharmacist license
