Pharmacy Manager in Berkeley, CA

A leadership opportunity is available for a Clinical Pharmacy Manager to oversee clinical pharmacy services across multiple campuses of a major medical center in San Francisco, CA. This role involves managing clinical pharmacy staff and driving the delivery of exceptional pharmaceutical care within a renowned hospital setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and coordinate clinical pharmacy activities for all campuses within the medical center.
• Supervise and support clinical pharmacy personnel in implementing and evaluating clinical programs.
• Develop and provide educational and training initiatives for pharmacy staff and hospital-wide.
• Design, market, implement, and continuously assess clinical service programs to ensure quality and continuity.
• Maintain responsibility for departmental quality assurance, medication safety, drug use evaluations, adverse drug reaction monitoring, and availability of drug information resources.
• Direct the PGY1 Pharmacy Residency Program and co-chair the Pharmacy & Therapeutics Committee.

Qualifications:

• BS in Pharmacy or PharmD degree required.
• Active California Pharmacist license.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in pharmacy, including clinical coordination or management roles.
• Demonstrated experience overseeing residency programs.
• Strong supervisory and leadership skills.

Location:

• San Francisco, CA – serving multiple campuses of a flagship medical center.

This is a direct hire position offering a competitive salary range of $206,000 to $330,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
