Job Description

Soliant is seeking an experienced Pharmacist In Charge (PIC) for a direct hire opportunity at a specialty HIV/AIDS pharmacy in San Francisco, California. This leadership role oversees daily pharmacy operations in a mission-driven environment focused on delivering high-quality care to vulnerable patient populations. The ideal candidate brings strong retail or specialty pharmacy leadership experience and a solid clinical foundation in HIV/AIDS therapy.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as Pharmacist-In-Charge (PIC) and oversee all pharmacy operations

  • Ensure compliance with state Board of Pharmacy regulations and internal standards

  • Supervise and support pharmacy staff in daily workflow and operations

  • Provide clinical pharmacy services in a specialty HIV/AIDS-focused setting

  • Collaborate with leadership teams to develop and implement best practices

  • Participate in internal and external meetings, trainings, and professional development

  • Maintain alignment with organizational mission, values, and quality initiatives

  • Contribute to process improvement and consistency across pharmacy operations

Qualifications

  • Active California Pharmacist license

  • Minimum 3–5 years of pharmacy management or PIC experience (retail or specialty required)

  • Strong foundational knowledge of HIV/AIDS medications required

Experience

  • 5–10+ years of pharmacy leadership experience highly preferred

  • Experience in specialty, retail, or community pharmacy settings required

  • Hospital-only experience will not be considered

Education

  • Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) or equivalent from an accredited institution

Work Hours

  • Monday – Friday

  • 9:00 AM – 7:00 PM

  • Full-time schedule

Compensation

  • Salary Range: $165,000 – $180,000

  • Quarterly performance-based bonuses available
