This full-time, direct hire opportunity offers a day shift schedule Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional additional coverage as needed.

Schedule:

Role Overview:
You will oversee daily operations of the pharmacy department, ensuring optimal pharmaceutical care and efficient inventory management. This leadership role includes mentoring clinical pharmacists and supporting staff, developing policies and procedures, and stepping in during the Pharmacy Director’s absence. You will also provide hands-on pharmaceutical care as needed, contributing directly to patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage pharmacy operations and staff oversight
• Ensure compliance with pharmacy policies and procedures
• Oversee inventory and resource management
• Mentor and support clinical pharmacy staff
• Assist with departmental leadership in absence of Pharmacy Director
• Deliver pharmaceutical care as a staff pharmacist

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor of Science or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) from an ACPE-accredited School of Pharmacy
• Minimum 5 years of hospital pharmacy experience including leadership roles
• Active Pharmacist license in good standing with the relevant State Board of Pharmacy
• BLS certification obtained within 14 days of hire
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems
• Preferred: ALS/ACLS certification and previous pharmacy operations management experience
