A leadership role is available for a Pharmacy Manager in a retail setting located in Sunbury, PA. This full-time, direct hire opportunity involves overseeing pharmacy operations with a focus on driving business growth, ensuring regulatory compliance, managing staff, and delivering excellent customer service.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain collaborative relationships with the store operations team to enhance associate engagement and communicate department and company strategies.
• Review and verify prescriptions for accuracy and compliance with state and federal Board of Pharmacy regulations, including Drug Utilization Review and Final Quality Assurance.
• Manage the pharmacy department as a profitable business, promoting script growth through clinical programs such as immunizations and Medication Therapy Management (MTM).
• Control inventory by tracking weekly sales and ordering pharmaceutical stock to meet customer demand while maximizing profits.
• Align department performance objectives to key measurable metrics for effectiveness and efficiency.
• Provide healthcare counseling and address customer medical-related inquiries to ensure high-quality service.
• Supervise pharmacists, pharmacy associates, and support staff, including training, coaching, and disciplinary actions.
• Maintain pharmacy security protocols and ensure a clean, organized department.
• Resolve customer issues and interact with physicians to clarify prescriptions and resolve concerns.
• Prioritize tasks such as cycle counts, inventory management, and customer will-calls to maintain smooth department operations.
• Support ongoing training and development initiatives to improve staff performance and reduce turnover.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree.
• Current Pennsylvania Pharmacist License.
• Current Pennsylvania Immunization License.

Schedule:

• Variable day and afternoon shifts.
