An opportunity is available for a Pharmacy Manager role located in Sunbury, PA, within a retail pharmacy setting. This direct hire position offers a full-time schedule with variable day and afternoon shifts, providing flexibility within the business hours.

Responsibilities include maintaining a collaborative relationship with the store operations team to drive associate engagement and effectively communicate department strategies. The role requires ensuring the accuracy and compliance of all prescriptions through Drug Utilization Review and final quality assurance, adhering to state and federal Board of Pharmacy regulations. Managing the department to build a profitable business involves growing prescription volume through clinical programs such as immunizations and Medication Therapy Management (MTM), as well as inventory control aligned with sales tracking. The Pharmacy Manager will oversee the work of pharmacists and pharmacy associates, conducting training, coaching, and disciplinary actions while managing security within the department.

Additional duties include resolving customer issues to build trust and loyalty, collaborating with physicians to address prescription concerns, maintaining pharmacy cleanliness and organization, and prioritizing daily tasks like cycle counts and inventory management to ensure efficient operations.

Qualifications and desired experience:

• Bachelor of Pharmacy or PharmD degree
• Current Pennsylvania Pharmacist License
• Current Pennsylvania Immunization License
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage staff effectively
• Knowledge of state and federal pharmacy regulations
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
