Pharmacy Manager - Boston, MA

An opportunity is available for an experienced Pharmacy professional to lead inpatient pharmacy operations within a hospital setting. This role involves managing pharmacy services, overseeing medication distribution, and supporting staffing needs to ensure seamless, safe patient care. The position begins immediately and is expected to last for 3+ months on a contract basis.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage daily inpatient pharmacy operations to ensure compliance with hospital policies and regulatory standards
• Provide leadership and supervision to pharmacy staff, including staffing adjustments as needed
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize medication management and patient outcomes
• Oversee inventory control, medication safety, and quality assurance initiatives
• Contribute to workflow management and process improvement efforts within the pharmacy department

Desired Experience and Qualifications:

• Valid Massachusetts Pharmacy License (MA License) is required
• Experience working in a hospital pharmacy setting; prior management experience is highly desirable but not mandatory
• Strong leadership and communication skills to effectively coordinate with healthcare teams
• Ability to adapt quickly within a dynamic healthcare environment and respond to staffing challenges
