A leadership opportunity awaits for a Pharmacy Operations Manager in Tulsa, OK, with a focus on fostering excellence in hospital pharmacy services. Location:

  • Tulsa, Oklahoma

Schedule:

  • Monday through Friday
  • 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
  • 8-hour day shifts with additional coverage as needed

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily pharmacy department operations, ensuring efficient workflow and compliance with policies
  • Manage pharmacy inventory and staff, providing guidance and mentorship
  • Develop and implement policies, procedures, and educational initiatives within the pharmacy
  • Support clinical pharmacists and pharmacy personnel to enhance pharmaceutical care
  • Act as pharmacy lead in the absence of the Pharmacy Director

Qualifications:

  • B.S. or Pharm D. degree from an ACPE-accredited School of Pharmacy
  • Minimum 5 years of hospital pharmacy experience, including leadership roles
  • Active Pharmacist license in good standing with the appropriate State Board of Pharmacy
  • Compliance with state-specific requirements such as sterile compounding
  • BLS certification obtained within 14 days of hire
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Electronic Medical Record Systems

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Doctor of Pharmacy from an ACPE-accredited college
  • At least 1 year as a pharmacy operations specialist
  • Experience in hospital pharmacy management
  • ALS/ACLS certification
