A leadership opportunity awaits for a Pharmacy Operations Manager in Tulsa, OK, with a focus on fostering excellence in hospital pharmacy services. Location:
- Tulsa, Oklahoma
Schedule:
- Monday through Friday
- 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
- 8-hour day shifts with additional coverage as needed
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily pharmacy department operations, ensuring efficient workflow and compliance with policies
- Manage pharmacy inventory and staff, providing guidance and mentorship
- Develop and implement policies, procedures, and educational initiatives within the pharmacy
- Support clinical pharmacists and pharmacy personnel to enhance pharmaceutical care
- Act as pharmacy lead in the absence of the Pharmacy Director
Qualifications:
- B.S. or Pharm D. degree from an ACPE-accredited School of Pharmacy
- Minimum 5 years of hospital pharmacy experience, including leadership roles
- Active Pharmacist license in good standing with the appropriate State Board of Pharmacy
- Compliance with state-specific requirements such as sterile compounding
- BLS certification obtained within 14 days of hire
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Electronic Medical Record Systems
Preferred Qualifications:
- Doctor of Pharmacy from an ACPE-accredited college
- At least 1 year as a pharmacy operations specialist
- Experience in hospital pharmacy management
- ALS/ACLS certification
