Retail Supervising Pharmacy Manager | Burnham, Pennsylvania

This full-time Pharmacy Manager position is based in Burnham, PA, offering a direct hire opportunity in a retail setting. The role is pivotal in maintaining a profitable and compliant pharmacy department while leading associates and enhancing customer service.

Location: Burnham, PA
Schedule:

• 10-hour shifts (9am – 7pm)
• 11-hour shifts (9am – 8pm)
• 12-hour shifts (8am – 8pm or 9am – 9pm)
  Variable day and afternoon shifts
  Hours Bi-Weekly: 62 hours

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead a collaborative partnership with the store operations team to foster associate engagement and communicate strategies effectively.
• Ensure prescription accuracy by conducting Drug Utilization Review and Final Quality Assurance per state and federal regulations.
• Manage inventory, control costs, and implement clinical programs to drive script growth, including immunizations and Medication Therapy Management (MTM) when available.
• Align department goals with key performance metrics related to effectiveness and efficiency.
• Provide exceptional customer service, resolving issues and supporting counseling on medical-related inquiries.
• Supervise pharmacists, associates, and support staff, including training, coaching, and disciplinary actions.
• Maintain pharmacy security, cleanliness, and organization.
• Collaborate with physicians and utilize reference materials to resolve prescription inquiries.
• Oversee daily pharmacy tasks such as cycle counts, inventory management, and will-calls.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree
• Current Pennsylvania Pharmacist License
• Current Pennsylvania Immunization License
• Strong leadership and communication skills in a retail pharmacy environment

This direct hire role offers a competitive compensation range from $59.50 to $71.50 per hour (salary can be higher).
