Pharmacy Manager - Burnham, PA

A retail pharmacy is seeking an experienced Pharmacy Manager to lead its operations in Burnham, PA. This direct hire role offers an opportunity to take ownership of the pharmacy department, ensuring compliance with regulations while driving business growth and delivering exceptional patient care.

Schedule/Hours:

• Bi-weekly hours: 62
• 10-hour shifts: Typically 9 AM – 7 PM
• 11-hour shifts: Typically 9 AM – 8 PM
• 12-hour shifts: Either 8 AM – 8 PM or 9 AM – 9 PM
• Variable day and afternoon shifts

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the store operations team to promote associate engagement and communicate department and corporate strategies clearly to pharmacy staff.
• Verify prescription accuracy and compliance through Drug Utilization Review and Final Quality Assurance, adhering to state and federal Board of Pharmacy regulations.
• Manage and grow the department profitably, including script growth through clinical programs such as immunizations and Medication Therapy Management (MTM).
• Control inventory by tracking weekly sales, ordering pharmaceuticals as needed to meet customer demand and maximize profits.
• Set and monitor department performance objectives aligned with key measurable metrics.
• Deliver excellent customer service, assisting with medical queries and healthcare counseling.
• Supervise all pharmacy personnel, overseeing training, coaching, discipline, and performance development.
• Maintain pharmacy security and manage issue resolution to foster customer trust and loyalty.
• Interface with physicians and use reference materials to resolve prescription-related issues.
• Ensure the pharmacy department is clean, organized, and efficient, including inventory management, cycle counts, and will-call follow-ups.

Desired Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Pharmacy or PharmD degree
• Current Pennsylvania Pharmacist License
• Current Pennsylvania Immunization License
