An established retail pharmacy seeks a dedicated Pharmacy Manager to oversee operations and ensure exceptional patient care. This role offers the option of an interim position (3-6 months) or a permanent placement, providing flexibility for the right candidate to contribute leadership and expertise within the pharmacy department.

Schedule:
- Monday to Friday: 9:00 AM – 7:00 PM
- Saturday: 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM
- Closed Sundays
Key Responsibilities:
- Register as the supervising pharmacist or pharmacist in charge with the state board of pharmacy.
- Maintain compliance with all federal, state, board of pharmacy regulations, and company policies.
- Manage all aspects of pharmacy operations, including budgeting, payroll, third-party administration, scheduling, and inventory to ensure financial viability.
- Lead pharmacy support staff by managing job performance, providing training, and ensuring adherence to regulatory and company standards.
- Engage in business development efforts both within the store and community.
- Oversee patient-centered services such as immunizations, Medication Therapy Management (MTM), and wellness programs.
- Counsel patients and medical providers on medication usage, interactions, side effects, and monitor patient therapy outcomes.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant work environment.
- Participate in ongoing quality improvement programs and complete continuing education as required.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
Desired Qualifications:
- Licensed Pharmacist in New York State (required).
- Immunization Certification with comfort in administering all vaccines (required).
- Recent experience as a Pharmacy Manager (preferred).
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to mentor and supervise pharmacy staff effectively.
