A leadership opportunity is available for an experienced pharmacy professional to manage operations at a bustling community pharmacy in Ogdensburg, NY. This role offers a direct hire position overseeing the pharmacy to ensure compliance, financial success, and exceptional patient care within a supportive team environment.

Location:

  • Ogdensburg, NY

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday: 9:00 AM – 7:00 PM
  • Saturday: 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM
  • Sunday: Closed

Key Responsibilities:

  • Register as supervising pharmacist or pharmacist in charge with the state board of pharmacy.
  • Lead daily pharmacy operations to meet financial goals including budget and inventory management.
  • Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and company regulations and policies.
  • Manage and mentor pharmacy staff, including training, performance reviews, and accountability.
  • Participate in patient-centered programs such as immunizations, medication therapy management (MTM), and wellness initiatives.
  • Provide expert counseling to patients and healthcare providers regarding medications and therapies.
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness, organization, and safety in the pharmacy.
  • Engage in continuous quality improvement and complete required continuing education.
  • Support business development efforts within the store and community.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Licensed pharmacist in New York State.
  • Immunization certification with confidence in administering all vaccines (required).
  • Recent experience as a pharmacy manager preferred.
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
