Supervising Pharmacy Manager - Canton, New York

This role offers the opportunity to lead pharmacy operations and serve as a key healthcare provider in the community. The position requires a licensed pharmacist with strong leadership skills and a commitment to patient-centered care.

Location: Ogdensburg, NY
Schedule:

• Monday to Friday: 9:00 AM – 7:00 PM
• Saturday: 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM
• Sundays: Closed

Responsibilities include:

• Registering as supervising pharmacist or pharmacist in charge with the state board of pharmacy.
• Ensuring compliance with federal, state, and company regulations to maintain pharmacy standing.
• Overseeing pharmacy operations to meet financial goals including budgeting, payroll, and inventory management.
• Managing pharmacy personnel, including hiring, training, performance review, and ensuring adherence to policies.
• Participating in community business development, patient care services like immunizations, medication therapy management (MTM), and wellness programs.
• Providing patient and provider counseling on drug usage, interactions, and side effects with a focus on optimizing therapy outcomes.
• Implementing continuous quality improvement programs to enhance patient safety.
• Maintaining a clean, organized work environment and completing required continuing education.

Qualifications:

• Valid New York State Pharmacist License
• Immunization Certification with confidence in administering all vaccines (required)
• Recent experience as a Pharmacy Manager is preferred
