Oversee pharmacy operations and clinical services as an Infusion Pharmacy Manager, ensuring the safe delivery of home-based intravenous therapies. This direct-hire opportunity in Cleveland, OH offers a Monday through Friday schedule with some administrative on-call duties and schedule flexibility.
Responsibilities:
- Manage daily pharmacy operations including sterile compounding, IV admixture preparation, dispensing, and inventory control
- Lead and develop pharmacy staff through recruitment, training, and performance evaluations
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards, including State Board of Pharmacy laws and USP <797/800> sterile compounding guidelines
- Collaborate clinically with healthcare providers to optimize infusion therapy patient outcomes
- Contribute to branch budgeting, workflow efficiency, and performance improvement efforts
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) or Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from an accredited program
- Active, unrestricted Pharmacist license in Ohio
- 5-7 years of clinical and operational experience in home infusion or acute care pharmacy settings
- Strong expertise in IV admixture preparation and regulatory compliance
- Demonstrated leadership skills managing pharmacy teams, focusing on staff training and orientation
- Experience with CPR+ and CareTend systems highly preferred
- Prior experience in an infusion pharmacy setting preferred; specialty pharmacy backgrounds also considered
Schedule/Hours:
- Monday to Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
- Administrative on-call responsibilities required
- Must have schedule flexibility
