This direct hire opportunity seeks an experienced Infusion Pharmacy Manager to oversee the daily operations and clinical services of a home infusion pharmacy. The ideal candidate will have extensive management experience, a strong clinical background in intravenous therapies, and a dedication to maintaining regulatory compliance and high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage day-to-day pharmacy operations including sterile compounding, IV admixture preparation, dispensing, and inventory control.
  • Lead a team of pharmacists and technicians, providing recruitment, orientation, training, performance evaluations, and scheduling for on-call administrative duties.
  • Ensure strict compliance with State Board of Pharmacy regulations, USP compounding standards, and other relevant guidelines.
  • Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to optimize clinical outcomes for patients receiving home-based intravenous therapies.
  • Drive branch business initiatives by participating in budget planning, workflow improvements, and performance evaluations.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) or Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from an accredited institution.
  • Active and unrestricted Pharmacist license in Ohio.
  • 5 to 7 years of direct clinical and operations experience, preferably within a home infusion or acute care setting.
  • Strong expertise in IV admixture services and regulatory accreditation.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills managing pharmacy staff with a focus on training and development.
  • Experience with CPR+/CareTend systems is highly preferred.

Schedule:

  • Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with schedule flexibility required to support administrative on-call duties.

This role excludes applicants from retail or community pharmacy backgrounds and favors candidates with prior home infusion experience.
