This opportunity offers a leadership role managing a home infusion pharmacy dedicated to providing safe, home-based intravenous therapies. The position requires overseeing daily pharmacy operations, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and fostering a high-performing team focused on exceptional clinical services and branch success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Direct pharmacy operations including sterile compounding, IV admixture preparation, dispensing, and inventory management.
  • Lead recruitment, training, performance evaluations, and scheduling for pharmacists and pharmacy technicians.
  • Maintain strict compliance with State Boards of Pharmacy laws and USP <797/800> sterile compounding guidelines.
  • Collaborate clinically with physicians and nurses to optimize patient care in infusion therapies.
  • Participate in budgeting, workflow improvements, and strategies to enhance branch profitability and efficiency.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) or Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from an accredited institution.
  • Active, unrestricted Ohio Pharmacist license.
  • 5-7 years of clinical and operational experience in home infusion or acute care pharmacy settings.
  • Strong expertise in IV admixture services and regulatory accreditation standards.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills managing pharmacy staff, including training and orientation.
  • Experience with CPR+/CareTend systems is highly preferred.
  • Prior experience in an infusion pharmacy setting is highly desirable; specialty pharmacy experience will also be considered.

Location:

  • Columbus, OH

Schedule:

  • Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
  • Flexibility required for administrative on-call responsibilities
