Pharmacy Manager - Columbus, OH

Oversee and enhance pharmacy operations focused on home-based intravenous therapies in a leadership role that demands clinical expertise and operational excellence. This position involves managing sterile compounding activities while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and promoting branch profitability.

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
• Must have schedule flexibility with administrative on-call duties

Key Responsibilities:

• Direct daily pharmacy functions including sterile compounding, IV admixture preparation, dispensing, and inventory management.
• Lead and supervise pharmacists and technicians through recruitment, training, performance evaluations, and on-call scheduling.
• Ensure compliance with State Boards of Pharmacy laws and USP <797/800> compounding guidelines.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize patient care outcomes through clinical oversight of infusion therapies.
• Participate in budgeting, workflow optimization, and performance improvement initiatives to support branch goals.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) or Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from an accredited program.
• Active, unrestricted Pharmacist license in Ohio.
• Minimum 5 years of clinical and operational experience in a home infusion or acute care pharmacy setting.
• Proven leadership skills managing pharmacy teams, with a focus on training and orientation.
• Strong knowledge of IV admixture services, sterile compounding, and regulatory accreditation.
• Prior experience in an infusion setting highly preferred; specialty pharmacy experience considered.
• Experience with CPR+ or CareTend systems is highly desirable.
