Infusion Pharmacy Manager - Direct Hire

Schedule: Mon - Fri 8:30a-5p, must have schedule flexibility; administrative on-call

Experience: Management of infusion pharmacy staff with a significant focus on training and orientation. Highly prefer someone with prior home infusion setting experience. No retail/community pharmacy applicants, please.

Job Description: Home Infusion Pharmacy Manager oversees daily pharmacy operations and clinical services for safe, home-based intravenous therapies. This role leads sterile compounding activities, manages pharmacy personnel, and ensures compliance with strict regulatory standards while driving branch profitability.

Key Responsibilities
• Pharmacy Operations: Directs day-to-day activities, including sterile compounding, IV admixture preparation, dispensing, and inventory management.
• Team Leadership: Supervises pharmacists and technicians, handling recruitment, training, performance evaluations, and on-call scheduling.
• Quality & Compliance: Ensures rigorous adherence to regulations, including State Boards of Pharmacy laws and USP <797/800> compounding guidelines.
• Clinical Oversight: Maintains clinical expertise in infusion therapies, collaborating with physicians and nurses to optimize patient outcomes.
• Business & Strategy: Participates in branch budgeting, workflow optimization, and performance improvement initiatives.

Qualifications & Requirements
• Education: A Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) or Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from an accredited program.
• Licensure: An active, unrestricted Pharmacist license in the state of practice (OH)
• Experience: 5-7 years of direct clinical and operations experience in a home infusion or acute care setting.
• Skills: Strong knowledge of IV admixture services, regulatory accreditation, and proven team leadership capabilities.

System: CPR+/CareTend (experience highly preferred)
