Job Description

Soliant is seeking an experienced Infusion Pharmacy Manager for a direct hire opportunity supporting a growing specialty infusion pharmacy in Central Ohio. This leadership role is responsible for overseeing daily pharmacy operations, staff development, and clinical services in a high-acuity infusion environment. The ideal candidate brings strong management experience with a background in infusion or specialty pharmacy and a commitment to regulatory compliance and patient safety.

This is a key leadership position that combines clinical oversight with operational management, ensuring high-quality pharmacy services and efficient workflow across the team.

Responsibilities

• Oversee overall pharmacy operations and daily workflow

• Manage and support pharmacists, technicians, and support staff

• Ensure compliance with USP 797, USP 800, and state/federal regulations

• Provide oversight of compounding, dispensing, and clinical monitoring services

• Conduct patient-specific clinical assessments and care plan reviews

• Ensure accuracy and safety in medication preparation and distribution

• Manage controlled substance handling, storage, and documentation

• Collaborate with physicians, providers, and referral sources

• Serve as a clinical and operational resource for internal teams

• Support hiring, onboarding, training, and performance management

• Conduct performance reviews, conflict resolution, and team development

• Participate in on-call rotation and administrative support as needed

Qualifications

• Active Ohio Pharmacist license

• Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) or Registered Pharmacist (RPh) with clinical experience

• Minimum 7 years of pharmacist experience required

• Strong knowledge of compounding standards and sterile technique

Experience

• Prior infusion pharmacy experience strongly preferred

• Specialty pharmacy experience will be considered

• Previous pharmacy management or supervisory experience required

• Experience with sterile compounding highly preferred

Education

• PharmD or equivalent pharmacy degree from an accredited institution

• Post-graduate training preferred

Work Hours

• Monday – Friday

• 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM

• Administrative on-call responsibilities required
