Pharmacy Manager in Daly City, CA

A Clinical Pharmacy Manager position is available within a leading medical center in San Francisco, CA. This role holds clinical management responsibility across multiple campuses of a prominent healthcare institution. The ideal candidate will lead a dynamic pharmacy team in delivering high-quality clinical pharmacy services and advancing patient care initiatives.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee, supervise, and coordinate clinical pharmacy staff across all campuses within the medical center.
• Implement, support, and evaluate clinical pharmacy activities in the Department of Pharmacy.
• Develop and deliver educational and training programs for pharmacy staff and hospital personnel.
• Design, market, implement, and assess clinical service programs to ensure their continuity and effectiveness.
• Maintain department accountability with respect to quality assurance, medication safety, drug use evaluation, adverse drug reaction monitoring, and drug information management.
• Manage the PGY1 Pharmacy Residency Program as its Director.
• Co-chair the Pharmacy & Therapeutics (P&T) Committee, providing leadership and strategic oversight.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree.
• Active pharmacist license in California.
• Minimum of 5 years of total pharmacy experience.
• Prior experience as a Clinical Coordinator or Clinical Pharmacy Manager.
• Experience managing residency programs preferred.
• Proven supervisory and team management skills.

This is a direct hire opportunity offering a competitive salary range from $206,000 to $330,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
