Pharmacy Manager - Danville, PA

A retail pharmacy is seeking a dedicated Pharmacy Manager to lead operations at their Williamsport, PA location. This full-time, direct hire role offers an opportunity to manage a dynamic pharmacy team, overseeing daily operations, and driving business growth in alignment with company goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Foster a collaborative relationship with the store operations team, enhancing associate engagement and communicating strategic objectives to pharmacy staff.
• Ensure prescription accuracy and compliance by conducting Drug Utilization Reviews and Final Quality Assurance checks according to state and federal regulations.
• Manage inventory and work with the District Manager to track sales and optimize stock levels, supporting profitable business growth.
• Lead clinical initiatives such as immunizations and Medication Therapy Management (MTM) programs to boost prescription volume and customer health outcomes.
• Align departmental performance with key metrics, focusing on effectiveness and operational efficiency.
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing medical inquiries and pharmacy counseling.
• Supervise and develop pharmacy staff through training, coaching, and discipline, ensuring high team performance.
• Maintain pharmacy security and manage customer concerns to build trust and loyalty.
• Collaborate with physicians and use reference materials to resolve prescription issues.
• Oversee pharmacy department upkeep and personnel development to enhance service quality and reduce turnover.
• Prioritize and complete critical tasks including cycle counts, inventory control, and handling will-call prescriptions.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Pharmacy or Pharm D degree
• Active Pennsylvania Pharmacist License
• Current Pennsylvania Immunization License
