An established retail pharmacy is seeking an experienced Pharmacy Manager to oversee daily operations and foster a collaborative environment with the store operations team. This direct hire position offers a dynamic work schedule with varied day and afternoon shifts, providing a balance across 10- to 12-hour shifts.

Location: Sunbury, PA
Setting: Retail Pharmacy
Schedule:

  • 10-hour shifts (typically 9am – 7pm)
  • 11-hour shifts (typically 9am – 8pm)
  • 12-hour shifts (8am – 8pm or 9am – 9pm)
    Bi-Weekly Hours: 69
    Start Date: ASAP

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain strong collaboration with store leadership and drive associate engagement while communicating department and company strategy.
  • Ensure accuracy and compliance of all prescription fills by performing thorough Drug Utilization Reviews and final quality assurance in line with state and federal regulations.
  • Manage departmental profitability by promoting script growth through clinical programs such as immunizations and Medication Therapy Management (MTM).
  • Oversee inventory control by tracking weekly sales and ordering pharmaceuticals to meet customer needs.
  • Align team performance with seven key measurable department metrics to optimize effectiveness and efficiency.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, support pharmacy associates, and resolve complaints to build trust and loyalty.
  • Lead hiring, training, coaching, and disciplinary actions for pharmacy staff.
  • Maintain pharmacy security and cleanliness while prioritizing tasks including cycle counts, inventory management, and will-calls.
  • Foster continuous development to reduce turnover and control labor costs.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Pharmacy or PharmD degree.
  • Current Pennsylvania Pharmacist License.
  • Current Pennsylvania Immunization License.
