A growing retail pharmacy is seeking a dedicated Pharmacy Manager to lead operations at their location in Mifflinburg, PA. This full-time position offers an opportunity to manage a team, oversee daily pharmacy functions, and play a key role in both customer service and business growth. The schedule features a mix of 10-, 11-, and 12-hour shifts with variable day and afternoon hours to meet operational needs.

• Bi-Weekly Hours: 62
• Typical Shifts: • 10 hours: 9 a.m. – 7 p.m. • 11 hours: 9 a.m. – 8 p.m. • 12 hours: 8 a.m. – 8 p.m. or 9 a.m. – 9 p.m.
• Variable day and afternoon shifts

Core Responsibilities:

• Collaborate closely with the store operations team and pharmacy staff to foster engagement and communicate company strategy effectively.
• Ensure accuracy and compliance of all filled prescriptions through thorough Drug Utilization Review and final quality assurance in line with state and federal pharmacy regulations.
• Drive business growth by promoting clinical programs such as immunizations and Medication Therapy Management (MTM).
• Manage inventory, track weekly sales data, and optimize pharmaceutical stock levels to meet customer demand while maximizing profitability.
• Align department performance with key measurable metrics for efficiency and effectiveness.
• Provide excellent customer service, including addressing medical inquiries and offering healthcare counseling.
• Supervise pharmacists, pharmacy associates, and support staff, including training, coaching, and disciplinary actions.
• Maintain pharmacy security, cleanliness, and orderly operation.
• Handle customer issues professionally to build trust and loyalty.
• Communicate with physicians and utilize reference materials to address prescription issues.
• Prioritize tasks such as cycle counts, inventory management, and will-call fulfillment.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Pharmacy or PharmD degree
• Active Pennsylvania Pharmacist License
• Current Pennsylvania Immunization License
• Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage pharmacy teams effectively
• Strong knowledge of pharmacy regulations and retail operations
