Pharmacy Manager in Decatur, GA

A leadership opportunity is available for an experienced infusion pharmacy professional to manage home infusion pharmacy operations. This role is pivotal in ensuring the safe delivery of intravenous therapies in a home setting while overseeing a dedicated pharmacy team.

Responsibilities:

• Direct daily pharmacy operations including sterile compounding, IV admixtures, dispensing, and inventory control
• Lead, train, and evaluate pharmacists and technicians; manage recruitment and on-call scheduling
• Ensure compliance with State Board of Pharmacy regulations and USP <797/800> standards
• Provide clinical oversight, collaborating with healthcare providers to optimize patient care
• Participate in budgeting, workflow optimization, and quality improvement initiatives

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) or Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from an accredited program
• Active, unrestricted Pharmacist license in Georgia
• 5-7 years of clinical and operational experience in home infusion or acute care pharmacy practice
• Proven leadership skills with a strong focus on training and staff development
• Knowledge of IV admixture services, regulatory accreditation, and pharmacy compliance standards
• Familiarity with CPR+ and CareTend systems is highly preferred
• Ability to handle administrative on-call responsibilities; routine pharmacist on-call duties rotate among staff

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with schedule flexibility required for administrative on-call
