Retail Pharmacy Manager - Delhi, NY

A Pharmacy Manager position is available for a retail pharmacy location in Oneonta, NY. This is a contract opportunity with options for interim or permanent placement and offers a structured schedule supporting a balanced workweek.

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday: 9:00 AM – 7:00 PM
• Saturday: 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM
• Closed Sundays

Key Responsibilities:

• Register as supervising pharmacist or pharmacist in charge with the state board of pharmacy.
• Ensure pharmacy compliance with all federal, state, board of pharmacy regulations, and company policies.
• Oversee pharmacy operations including budget management, payroll, third-party administration, scheduling, and inventory to meet financial goals.
• Engage in business development initiatives both in-store and within the community.
• Manage performance and training of pharmacy support staff, ensuring compliance with regulatory and corporate standards.
• Participate in patient-centered services such as immunizations, medication therapy management (MTM), and wellness programs.
• Provide counseling to patients and healthcare providers regarding drug usage, interactions, and side effects.
• Maintain continuous quality improvement activities to safeguard patient safety.
• Uphold cleanliness and organization of pharmacy and workstations per company guidelines.
• Complete required continuing education as per state law.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Valid New York State Pharmacist License.
• Immunization Certification with demonstrated competency in administering all vaccines.
• Recent experience as a Pharmacy Manager preferred.
• Strong leadership and organizational skills.
