Location: Oneonta, NY
Job Type: Contract (Interim or Permanent)
Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday: 9:00 AM – 7:00 PM
  • Saturday: 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM
  • Closed Sundays

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Register as supervising pharmacist or pharmacist-in-charge with the state board of pharmacy.
  • Ensure pharmacy compliance with all federal, state, and board of pharmacy regulations and company policies.
  • Manage all pharmacy operations to meet financial targets, including budgeting, payroll, third-party administration, scheduling, and inventory control.
  • Lead and mentor pharmacy staff, overseeing job performance, training, and compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Facilitate completion of required training for all pharmacy associates.
  • Engage in business development initiatives within the store and community to expand pharmacy services.
  • Deliver patient-centered care through immunizations, medication therapy management (MTM), wellness programs, and counseling on medications, dosages, interactions, and side effects.
  • Maintain continuous quality improvement programs to ensure patient safety and service excellence.
  • Keep the pharmacy workspace organized, clean, and compliant with legal and company standards.
  • Complete continuing education in accordance with state requirements.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Licensed to practice pharmacy in New York State.
  • Immunization Certification with demonstrated ability to administer all required vaccines.
  • Recent experience as a Pharmacy Manager preferred.
