Pharmacy Manager in Delhi, NY

A Pharmacy Manager position is available for a professional with strong leadership and regulatory compliance skills to oversee pharmacy operations at a retail facility in Oneonta, NY. This role requires a licensed pharmacist with immunization certification who is committed to maintaining high standards in pharmacy practice and patient care.

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday: 9am – 7pm
• Saturday: 9am – 3pm
• Sunday: Closed

Key Responsibilities:

• Register with the state board of pharmacy as supervising pharmacist or pharmacist in charge.
• Maintain compliance with federal, state, and board of pharmacy regulations, as well as company policies.
• Manage overall pharmacy operations including budgeting, payroll, scheduling, third-party administration, and inventory control to meet financial goals.
• Lead pharmacy support staff through hiring, training, performance management, and ensuring adherence to company standards and regulatory requirements.
• Participate in business development efforts within the store and local community.
• Provide patient-centered services such as immunizations, medication therapy management (MTM), and wellness programs.
• Counsel patients and healthcare providers on drug usage, interactions, side effects, and monitor treatment progress.
• Implement continuous quality improvement programs to uphold patient safety.
• Maintain a clean, organized workstation and department facilities that comply with legal and company regulations.
• Complete continuing education as required by state law.

Desired Experience and Qualifications:

• Valid New York State pharmacy license.
• Immunization certification and confident administration of all vaccines.
• Recent experience as a Pharmacy Manager preferred.
