Pharmacy Manager - Delhi, NY

Manage and lead a growing specialty pharmacy operation with a dynamic role transitioning from hybrid remote to a new onsite specialty pharmacy location. This position offers a unique opportunity to shape the future of specialty pharmacy services across Central and Upstate New York, beginning in Oneonta with a hybrid schedule and later moving onsite to a newly built, fully licensed facility in Utica.

Location & Work Model

• Initial Location: Oneonta, NY (Hybrid remote)
• Future Location: Utica, NY (Onsite upon new facility opening)

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day specialty pharmacy operations ensuring compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards
• Lead and develop pharmacy staff to deliver exceptional patient care and operational excellence
• Manage specialty medication dispensing including prior authorizations and patient support programs
• Collaborate with healthcare providers, patients, and team members to optimize specialty therapy outcomes
• Ensure alignment with specialty pharmacy accreditation requirements such as URAC and ACHC
• Drive operational improvements and maintain high-quality standards in a growing pharmacy environment

Qualifications & Desired Experience

• Active New York State pharmacist license in good standing
• Proven specialty pharmacy experience (mandatory)
• Demonstrated pharmacy leadership or management expertise
• Familiarity with specialty pharmacy accreditation standards (URAC, ACHC) highly desirable
• Experience with specialty disease states including oncology, HIV, infusion therapies, and rare diseases preferred
• Strong communication skills with providers, patients, and multidisciplinary teams
• Comfortable starting in a hybrid remote role and transitioning to full onsite work in Utica
