Oversee and elevate home infusion pharmacy operations as a Pharmacy Manager, leading a dedicated team in providing safe, high-quality intravenous therapies in patients’ homes. This direct hire role demands expertise in infusion pharmacy management and staff leadership, with a focus on training for sustainable success.
Location: Douglasville, GA
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM, with schedule flexibility and administrative on-call responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead daily pharmacy operations including sterile compounding, IV admixture preparation, dispensing, and inventory oversight
- Manage recruitment, orientation, and ongoing training for pharmacists and technicians to foster a skilled, compliant team
- Maintain strict compliance with state pharmacy laws and USP <797/800> sterile compounding standards
- Collaborate clinically with healthcare providers to ensure optimal infusion therapy outcomes
- Drive branch performance through budgeting, workflow enhancements, and quality improvement strategies
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) or Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from an accredited program
- Active, unrestricted pharmacist license in Georgia
- 5–7 years of clinical and operational pharmacy experience, ideally in home infusion or acute care settings
- Strong knowledge of sterile compounding, IV admixture services, and regulatory accreditation requirements
- Proven leadership skills with a focus on training and staff development
- Experience with CPR+ or CareTend systems is highly preferred
