Key Responsibilities:
- Manage daily pharmacy operations including sterile compounding, IV admixture preparation, dispensing, and inventory control.
- Lead, train, and evaluate pharmacists and technicians, fostering a team environment centered on professional growth and quality service.
- Maintain compliance with State Board of Pharmacy regulations, USP <797/800> compounding standards, and other regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with clinical staff and healthcare providers to optimize patient intravenous therapy outcomes.
- Contribute to business strategy through budgeting, workflow improvements, and operational performance assessments.
- Support pharmacist on-call schedules and participate in administrative on-call duties when necessary.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) or Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from an accredited institution.
- Active, unrestricted Pharmacist license valid in Georgia.
- 5-7 years of direct clinical and operational experience in home infusion or an acute care environment.
- Demonstrated proficiency in infusion management and strong leadership skills with an emphasis on training and orientation.
- Experience with CPR+/CareTend systems is highly preferred.
