An opportunity is available for a Pharmacy Manager specializing in home infusion services. This direct hire role is suited for a pharmacy professional with a strong background in managing pharmacy operations, leading clinical and administrative teams, and ensuring compliance within a home infusion or specialty pharmacy setting. The pharmacy operates in a location northwest of downtown Columbus, offering a stable Monday through Friday schedule with some administrative on-call responsibilities and flexibility needed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily pharmacy activities, including sterile compounding, IV admixture preparation, dispensing, and inventory control to ensure safe and efficient operations.
  • Lead and mentor pharmacy staff, managing recruitment, training, performance evaluations, and on-call scheduling to maintain a high-functioning team.
  • Maintain strict compliance with regulatory standards, including State Boards of Pharmacy requirements and USP compounding guidelines.
  • Collaborate closely with healthcare providers to deliver optimal clinical outcomes for patients receiving home-based intravenous therapies.
  • Assist in budgeting, workflow optimization, and performance improvement projects to support the pharmacy’s business goals.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) or Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from an accredited institution.
  • Active, unrestricted pharmacist license in Ohio.
  • 5-7 years of combined clinical and operational experience in home infusion or acute care pharmacy settings.
  • Proficient knowledge of IV admixture services and regulatory accreditation.
  • Demonstrated leadership and team management skills.
  • Experience with CPR+/CareTend systems highly preferred.
