Pharmacy Manager - Dyess Afb, TX

A contract opportunity is available for a Pharmacist In Charge (PIC) at a pharmacy located in Abilene, TX. This role requires strong leadership skills and offers the potential for growth within the position, transitioning from contract to hire.

Location:

• Abilene, TX (Dyess Air Force Base vicinity)

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday
• 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee pharmacy operations as the Pharmacist In Charge.
• Ensure compliance with state and federal pharmacy regulations.
• Lead the pharmacy team effectively and foster a collaborative environment.
• Manage sterile and non-sterile compounding processes.
• Maintain appropriate licensure and work towards obtaining multiple state licenses as required.

Qualifications:

• Valid Texas Pharmacist License.
• Minimum of 1 year experience as a licensed Pharmacist.
• Experience as a Pharmacist In Charge is preferred.
• Proficient in sterile and non-sterile compounding.
• Demonstrated leadership capabilities and a desire to grow in the role.
• Willingness to pursue additional state licensure.
