Pharmacy Manager in Elyria, OH

Oversee the critical operations of a home infusion pharmacy with a leadership role that blends clinical expertise, team management, and regulatory compliance. This position is responsible for ensuring the safe preparation and delivery of intravenous therapies in a home setting while directing pharmacy staff and maintaining high standards of quality and profitability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage daily pharmacy operations including sterile compounding, IV admixture preparation, dispensing, and inventory control.
• Lead and develop a skilled team of pharmacists and technicians, overseeing recruitment, orientation, training, performance assessments, and administrative on-call scheduling.
• Ensure strict compliance with state pharmacy laws, USP <797/800> compounding guidelines, and other regulatory standards.
• Provide clinical oversight for infusion therapies, working collaboratively with healthcare providers to optimize patient care.
• Participate in budgeting processes, workflow optimization, and performance improvement initiatives to support branch success.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) or Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from an accredited program.
• Active, unrestricted Pharmacist license in Ohio.
• 5-7 years of clinical and operational experience in a home infusion or acute care pharmacy setting.
• Strong leadership skills with a proven ability to manage and train pharmacy staff.
• In-depth knowledge of IV admixture services and regulatory accreditation requirements.
• Experience with CPR+/CareTend systems highly preferred.
• Prior infusion pharmacy experience strongly preferred; specialty pharmacy experience will also be considered.

Schedule and Location:

• Monday to Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with schedule flexibility and administrative on-call duties.
• Located in Elyria, Ohio.
